Engagement Portrait Wedding Photography in Richmond and Central VA
Unique, Dynamic, Modern, & Beautiful Engagement Portraits.
Our
wedding photography engagement portraits are again non tradational, but with an emphasis on the couple. Our
engagement portraits aren't set against a back drop nor do they include much of "look at the camera and smile!" No, when we
photograph an
engagement portrait session we focus on capturing a few things, Emotion, Passion, and beautiful images or portraits. Flip through a few of the
engagement portraits here but for all of our Richmond VA Engagement Portraits click the link below:

Natural Light
Do you want a lot of
wedding portraits, perhaps
wedding detail shots are more you speed, and what about
wedding candaids? It is important to think about these things when you look for a
wedding photographer in Richmond Virginia or anywhere else, and in you initial consultations make sure to talk about it with your
wedding photographer
Personality of the couple
When we
photograph engagement portraits for a couple we love to let their personality show through this way the
photograph is more unique and personal to the couple. We achieve this with our
candid portraits.
Candid portraits are just portraits taken in a very loose and relaxed way. What we do is put you in the best light and coach you on what we think you should do and encourage the two of you to run with it. By doing this we achieve
unique engagement portraits filled with true
emotion and beauty.
Choosing a location
This can be one of the most difficult parts of an
engagement shoot. When choosing a location try to find one that means something to the two of you as well as one that has a lot of visual interest. Try to also make sure that we can get there around sunset, and if it is a busy location make sure that we can arrive around sunrise.
What to wear
What I would suggest would be to bring a couple different out fits. 1 a summer dress or a skirt and a top (for the bride) and kakis and a nice white button up shirt (for the groom). Don't be afraid of color or patterns, but don't wear anything with really busy patterns or obnoxious colors. For the second Outfit I would go with jeans and a nice top (for the bride) and jeans and a polo or graphic tee (for the groom).
